What is BCIS?

Bachelor of Computer Information system is a four years program that develop technical skills along with Management insights with competency and skills in Computer and Information technology supported business organizations where the graduates can work as system analyst, information analyst, database Managers, Network Administrators, Trainer cum instructors and sales person.

About:

Kathmandu is the Capital City and it is the main spot for education, businesses, Science and technology and government undertaking. It is connected to other Cities by roadways and has its own airport called Tribhuvan International Airport.

Colleges offering BCIS:

In Kathmandu, there are some good Colleges out here that provide Studies of Computer Science and Information system program to the students at an affordable cost with quality benchmarks and recognition from University Grants Commission.

These Colleges though few are still very good and academically upgraded Colleges that run this program affiliated to Pokhara University. They are all private Colleges and run the four years BCIS program in English medium with adequate infrastructure and highly educated and professional faculties to provide knowledge and technical skills that are based on applications in the Information technology.

Around 40 to 96 Seats are available in each new intake of BCIS program at Colleges in Kathmandu. The total Cost is Rs 575000 and some Colleges may have charges higher above this due their added benefits and resources.

Features:

BCIS is 120 credit hours of studies in a four years eight semesters program. Besides theory it also has practical subjects like project works, internship and choices of elective subjects.
